The oldest continuously published newspaper in Arizona, The Tuscon Citizen published it’s final edition Saturday after Gannett announces it was unable to find a buyer for the 17000 circ paper.
In the paper’s final front page story, editor Jennifer Boice wrote:
It was a sad moment to learn the Citizen was worth more to its parent, [...]

B.U. admins remove papers covering “Craiglist Killer”

The Daily Free Press, Boston University’s independent student newspaper, wrote last week that administrators and employees in the Office of Admissions hide copies of the paper that featured headlines about Philip Markoff, a second-year Boston University School of Medicine student accused of murder, from prospective students.

Cedarville editors pull paper’s last edition

Multiple sources reported last week that editors Cedars, the biweekly student newspaper at Cedarville University, one of the largest liberal arts schools in the country, opted to suspend the semester’s final issue to protest censorship by the university administration.
